Sustainable development is a world problem .It means what we will give to our future world by using today? and what will be left for our future generation in good quality.

Also called tragedy in common means there is a tragedy that are common problem to every human of the world but no one to stop them .

Resources that are available to all common people from every part of the world for every type of production as it is impure public goods that no one are exclude them from using it and all are getting equal benefits (it is also called rivalnous problem ).

Clean Ganga river project:

The ganga river is a transboundary river of Asia which flow through 

india and bangladesh. The 2525 km river rises in the western himalayas in the indian state of uttarakhand and flow south and east through the gangetic plain of north india into bangladesh, where it empties into bay of bengal. it is the third largest river by discharge.

The ganga is the most scared river to hindu. it is also lifeline to million of indian who live along its cource and depend on it for their daily needs.it is worshipped as the goddess ganga in hinduism.

*problem with ganga and many other river ,lake and more: 

As earlier time where india is not developed that much in term of economics development, indistries , startup and mainly dependent on agriculture as70% , so due to that pollution level is low. people use water from lake ,river for there livelihood as it is pure to consume for their body .

but as slowly development take place all three level 1> primary level , it include i.e agriculture ,agri machinery development ,mining.

2> secondary level i.e manufacturing industry, industry develpoment 

3> teritary level, i.e service sector , include information technology ,  banking , online consumer delivery .mobility.

as secondary and teritary sector mostly affect to the environment as part of pollution. Manufacturing  waste are thrown to the river and lake. it make river dirty as not able to drink that water if we consume that dirty water there can be many diseases develop and dangerous to human. but sometimes it kill the human. as plastic are not able to dicompose in any form it affect the fish and many other being live in ocean plus also affect land after it will not useful.

As ganga home to approximately 140 spices of fish and 90 spices of amphibians. The river also contain reptiles and mammals, including critically endangered spices such as the gharial and south asian river dolphin. The level of fecal coliform bacteria from human waste in the river near varanasi are more than a hundred times the indian governments official limits..

The government Action plan, an environment initiative to clean up the river, has been considered failure. which is variously attributed to corruption,a lack of will in the government,poor technical expertise , environment planning and lack of support from the native religious authorities.

*Indian government About Ganga  Action Plan -1:    

The ganga rises in the Garhwal Himalaya from the gangotri  Glacier,some 4100 meters above the sea level under the name of bhagirathi. The river flow through the himalaya till another two stream, The mandakani and the Alakhnanda join it at devprayag.
